Nate Parsons- Software Engineering
Nate Parsons began his career in the technology sector with a number of Internet start-ups in Research Triangle Park during the first dot.com boom. After arriving in DC in 2001, Nate began working for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Coastwatch Program. While there, he worked with GIS systems, automating the processing & production of satellite image data. After that he was recruited by Mindshare Interactive (now Virilion, Inc) to help build large-scale, customized web applications and websites. Some of the major projects in which Mr. Parsons has been involved included the Edin08 Presidential issues campaign, the Human Rights Campaign’s website redesign, Phrma’s Partnership for Prescription Assistance program, and the Chief Council of State School Officer’s NETLC & National Teacher of the Year projects. Nate held the position of Director of Technical Services at Mindshare/Virilion before he came to work for TIG Global with over 10 years of experience in website development and Internet-related software projects.
